all of them are 3mm tooth spacing (pitch). they vary in width between 3 and 4.5 mm.

Do you also happen to know the widths of each?

well, duh..

i know the xray/corally belts are real narrow, whereas the schumacher/ae ones are a smidge wider. these are close estimates:

Cyclone (169/62) and (170/63) (3.5mm)
BD (172/63) (3.5mm)
TRF 415/416 (169/170/59/60) (3.5mm)
Xray (169/60/61/62) (3.0mm)
TC5 (172/63) (3.75mm)
RDX/Phi (169/62/70/71) (3.0mm)
Mi2/3 (171/60) (3.75mm)
S400 (167/59) (3.5mm)

are you at all concerned with the tooth profile? (this is cracking me up).

Sorry I'm a noob when it comes to belts

I guess that would be important too if I was trying to swap belts.

Before I got rid of my xray t2's, I used tower to find a 169T belt. What I found was a cyclone belt at about half the cost. Not all of towers listed belts have tooth counts, but enough do.

When I was parking lost racing and needed a rear belt for my T2, I went to the local hobby shop and picked up a RS4 belt and narrowed it to 3mm. Not bad, I was able to fix my car the same day and not pay shipping, and since it was a 1/2 off sale item I only paid like $4 after tax.

I believe the urethane belts have the least drag on tight radius pullys. The Nylon Tooth belts have the least rolling resistance.

Either way, you want belts with low strech such as belts with kevlar or spectra

If the belts are the same teeth, does that mean that they are the same length?
